EMILY’S STORY

A little about you?

Originally from the USA, married to a Peruvian with two kids (ages 2 & 5) and working full time as an Anaesthetic Nurse at The Alfred

Since you have first started at Boss how do you feel you have progressed?

“I can’t even compare where I am now to where I started.  When I started, I could barely move and I was nauseous after running the 200 meter warm up.   Now I can move so much better and push it a lot harder in the work outs.  I can do things I never thought I could do!”

How has this impacted your life?

“It’s changed everything for the better.  I wake up and know I’m going straight to the gym.  Mentally and physically, everything just feels better. “

What motivates you to keep turning up and training?

“The people.  I’ve made so many friends at Boss and I love training there.  Plus the trainers are hilarious and even though the workouts are tough, we always have a laugh.”

What advice would you give someone who is looking to start?

“Just come.  You won’t regret it and you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking the first steps.”
